Becoming a member of the EBSC means you are helping in our recruiting efforts, helping to sponsor club events such as the potluck or hosting Smith professors etc., and donating to a scholarship fund. You do not have to be a member to attend the potluck or any other events! We mail out newsletters to every East Bay alumna we have an address for once a year, usually in the fall; we mail one or two other newsletters in the year just to members.

Some different levels of being involved with Smith College as an alum (with or without giving money):
  • Participate/join a local alumnae club (dues)
  • Get involved with your class (reunion fund-raising every 5 years)
  • Donate to the Alumnae Fund (% of alums donating as important as amount--give $5!)

The AASC site has links to lists of alumnae clubs and class websites and contact info: http://alumnae.smith.edu (click Alumnae Connections on the left)
