I recently accepted the AAC position for the East Bay club, so that Kristin Rosi could be our NAAC for Region 10. The 2007-2008 recruiting season is upon us! Most of the AAC duties are compressed into the next few months, and I confess, it's caught me a little off guard this year. Elizabeth Olson and I met recently and shared some ideas about the January recruiting party this year, which we are hoping to be able to pull off with help from all of you, despite the short notice. We are looking at Saturday January 21st, at Betsey Warrick's home in Oakland. If any of you are interesting in contributing time, effort, or ideas, please contact me or Elizabeth ASAP!

Also, I have started getting calls from prospective students who would like to interview with an area alumnus. This is a really great chance to meet prospective students and, hopefully, future East Bay club members. I will be traveling for part of the month of January, so if you have the time and interest, I could really use your help with interviews for the next few weeks. Please contact me directly if you have an interest in interviewing.
